Abstract

This study aims that learning activities can make students active and creative in constructing their ideas through various methods and learning models to form an understanding of mathematics. One of the learning models that can answer these challenges is the application of the TGT model of cooperative learning. The subjects in this study were all fourth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Tanoh Abee Aceh Besar, totaling 42 people. Data collection was carried out using a test made in the form of a description of 10 questions. The data were processed with two-party t-test statistics. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of implementing the TGT cooperative learning model on student learning outcomes in fractional material in class V Elementary School.
